Turn Your Love Of Cars Into A Business

You’re either really into your cars, you admire a good car, or you just have no clue about them. If you fall into the first category, then you’re definitely in the right place. If you have a love for cars, then you truly will appreciate everything about them. We’re not just talking about a love for the super quick and expensive cars, we’re talking about a love for pretty much car out there. Of course, you will have your hate for some cars, for example some people can’t stand Mini’s! But as long as you have a passion for cars, then you can think about starting up your own business. It’s not hard to do, and you definitely don’t need to have a lot of money to do it. We won’t lie, it can be one of the more risky business ventures to take, but if you’re doing something you’re passionate about and you work hard, then there’s no reason why your car business couldn’t be super successful. The Buying & Selling Route


So, we think there are three good routes for setting up your own car business, and this is the first one that we want to talk about. The buying and selling route does just what it says on the tin. You buy a car, and then you sell it for a better price. It’s what pretty much every big car dealership does. To do so you would have to have traders insurance, but it is not that hard to get hold of, and it will cover you for all of the trade deals that you might be making. Then, to make the most money, we would start off by going to auctions. Here you can get cars for pretty much next to nothing, but you can never be sure what’s wrong with it. However, if you get it for super cheap and only have to do a bit of work to it, you could resell it for a much higher price, and make a nice little bit of profit.


The Customisation Route


Customising cars is just fun, and if you don’t think it is then you haven’t done it properly before. This route is probably one of the harder ones to start, because you’re going to have to build a client base up and start really small. You could ask your friends or family if they would like anything done for a discounted price, and then you just spread your name by word of mouth. Customising could be anything from a new paint job, to new interiors, to a more powerfully tuned engine. You just have to be so skilled to start this one.


The Old Car Route


The old car route is all about renovating an old car to make it look pretty much like new again. You don’t necessarily have to know how to do everything here, but you should know how to renovate paint work and interiors. For things such as mechanical problems, you could always outsource to begin with. But if you were to learn the trade over the years, you could easily give it a go!
