Is it time for you to change your career? Or maybe you’re looking to start one for the very first time. If that’s the case, you should take your personality type into account when deciding which career is for you. For people with outgoing and extrovert personality, some jobs suit them better than others. Here are some of the jobs that will suit you best if that’s what your personality is like.

Public Relations

Managing a company’s public relations division is never easy. It’s one of those things that you have to be good at communicating to do well at. You will be building media links and trying to shape stories and narratives. It’s not easy, and it’s even harder if you don’t have the willingness to be outgoing and push your agenda.

Sales and Marketing Roles

In order to sell to people, you have to be able to communicate effectively. You need to be a little pushy and connect with people. No one buys from a person that is not communicative and willing to provide persuasive information. That’s the job of the salesperson. Therefore, you have to be a little outgoing to make this kind of career work. Marketing can be similar, and you have to fight to get your ideas heard. You can do an online mba in marketing if this interests you. It could be the career you’re looking for.

Legal Representation

To be a good legal representative, you have to be able to present a convincing legal case on behalf of whoever you’re representing in front of the judge. If you get it wrong, it could be life-changing for the client. So, there is no room for being shy or reticent when it comes to representing someone in court. It takes a loud and outgoing kind of character to deliver and persuade in the necessary way.

Customer Services

Customer service staff have to be willing to help out and offer support to customers when they are experiencing difficulties. Being in that kind of situation is not always easy. You have to be able to communicate well and offer strong reassurances to customers. If you get it wrong, things can escalate rapidly, and the customer can get even more upset with the company. As a representative of the company, you will be the one that people vent their fury on.

Teaching

If you want to be a teacher, you need to be willing to make your voice heard and command the room. You have to be able to make the students respect you. But at the same time, you need to be open and build a connection with pupils. All of these things require someone who is quite outgoing. If you are not an outgoing person, it can take longer to settle into teaching, and you might find that it’s not really the profession for you.

As you can see, there are plenty of jobs that are ideally suited to people who are outgoing. If that sounds like you and you’re looking for a new career, consider these options.
